Fish and Chips

Fish

400 grams skin- and boneless fish fillet of Cod, Haddock or Pollock

Deep Batter
  • 240 grams wheat flour
  • 1 ts salt
  • 2 ts baking powder
  • 2.5 deciliter flavorless carbonated water (seltzer)
  • 1 ts dried Sugar Kelp (1 mm)
  • 1 ts dried Winged Kelp (1 mm)
  • Deep Frying Oil, sunflower or rapeseed

Stir everything together in a batter free of lumps, place in the refrigerator for 20 minutes. Heat the oil to 160-170 C (320-340 F). Place the fish in the batter and deep fry it for 5 minutes until it turns golden and crispy. Sprinkle with more seaweed before serving.

French Fries

Prepare the fries according to package instruction, season with seaweed.

Serve the Fish and Chips with Seaweed Mayonnaise and fresh seaweed if you have.
